This last achievement Sharapova owes mainly to her huge Nike contract which she signed when she was nearly 11 years old! Now, it seems that the fairytale gone bad and sportswear giant will soon annouce that the collaboration between Russian tennis princess and Nike is over. You wonder why? Here are some reasons why the Siberian Princess will soon lose her deal with American sportswear giant. 11.    The meldonium case. In 2016 Sharapova was accused of dopping because she had taken banned substance- meldonium. As she explained in special conference, Russian tennis star wasn’t informed well about that meldonium would be added to the list of the banned substances. As she claimes, it was International Tennis Federation who didn't do their job well by only send her an e-mail once and didn't remind her more about this fact. We all might know who Serena Williams is. Just in case, for those of you who are not intrested in tennis and actually don’t know much about her, she’s the champion of 23 Grand Slams (the biggest tournaments in tennis calendar), one of the most high paid athletes in the world and leader of WTA Ranking during 307 weeks. What’s more, this year she reached a Wimbledon final only after 7 months (!) after giving birth to her daughter Alexis. But as we all know her career is slowly coming to an end. Serena, 36 years old, claims that her goal is to participate in next Olympic Games which is in 2020, but she’s not sure whether her body will be able to stay away from the injuries during those 2 long seasons. This announcement has produced the big debate in tennis world: what may happen after she Will say goodbye to tennis courts all around the world? Who’s going to attract as many fans as her impulsive character and her powerful play full of spectacular aces and winners?
